Why we started VAYY
VAYY Intelligence is run by us, a husband-and-wife team who between us have worked in almost every configuration a data project can take — offshore and onshore, as consultants and as employees inside the businesses we were building for. That gave us a view most data teams never get: what a project looks like from every seat at the table, and where these projects usually go wrong. It's rarely the technology.
Existing reports and spreadsheets are rarely legacy clutter — they're a record of what the business has always cared about, and we look through them before we build anything new. Business users do not always know exactly what they need on the first attempt either; getting there takes curiosity and experience, not a requirements form. And a well-built pipeline that nobody in the business can see has not delivered value. The work has to surface as something a decision-maker can actually use.
